Bankhall
The Bankhall Company was conceived by Paul
Hogarth and Simon Taylor in 1993 under the company banner
of Bankhall Investment Associates. Its original conception
was to provide IFA support services to directly authorised
firms.
Since then numerous changes have occurred
with the creation of Bankhall Mortgages (formerly Point
One), the purchase of two mortgage clubs and strategic alliances
with third parties.
Bankhall specializes in the provision of
support services and offers the solution to a range of business
needs faced by financial advisers. It provides all the benefits
associated with a traditional network, including full technical
and software support, as well as sales and marketing support,
but without the strings attached. Bankhall is designed for
IFAs who are directly authorised by the FSA or who are wishing
to apply for direct authorisation.
Bankhall offers a range of product propositions
that includes pensions, investments, general insurance,
health insurance and life insurance. Their mortgage range
includes specific product developments such as the pure
protection preferred panel. This, for example, allows Bankhall
members to offer significant discounts on the premiums for
those products to their customers.
